These terms govern your use of SamKis Software Academy (the “Academy”), a product of SamKis Labs, a software studio based in Saint Lucia. By creating an account or making a purchase you agree to them. Questions? Email contact@samkislabs.com.

The service

The Academy is a paid, self-paced online course. You need an account to purchase and to track your progress. The first module of every track is free to play in full; the rest is unlocked by purchase.

Your account

You sign in with your email and a password, or with a one-time magic link we email to you. You are responsible for keeping access to your email and password secure. Tell us at contact@samkislabs.com if you think someone else has used your account.

Pricing and payment

Current prices and what each option includes are shown on the pricing page. In broad terms we offer a free first module on every track, a one-time purchase of a single module, an all-access subscription billed monthly or annually, and a one-time lifetime purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe; SamKis does not store your card details.

Refunds

Every purchase has a 7-day refund. Email contact@samkislabs.com within 7 days of purchase for a full refund, no questions asked.

Subscriptions and cancellation

You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account page. Cancelling stops the next renewal — your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again after that. One-time purchases (a single module, or lifetime access) do not renew, so there is nothing to cancel.

What your purchase lets you do

A purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to access the course content you have unlocked, for your own learning. Please do not share your account, or copy, resell or redistribute the course materials. We may suspend access that is clearly being shared or abused.

Certificates

When you pass every module of the course, you can issue a certificate from your account. A certificate records that you completed the Academy course; it is not an accredited qualification and does not represent any external accreditation.

The content

The course is educational material provided as-is. We work to keep it accurate and useful, but we cannot guarantee particular results, and the Academy is not a substitute for professional advice for your specific situation. To the extent the law allows, SamKis Labs is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the course; nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot lawfully be limited.

Intellectual property

The course, its text, diagrams and branding are owned by SamKis Labs. Your licence to use them is limited to your own learning as described above.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Academy changes. If we make a material change we will note it here and, where it affects you, tell you by email or on the site. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Saint Lucia, where SamKis Labs operates.
